Dear GTF Taekwon-do President, Grand Masters, Masters and National Members,

I’m very pleased to officially invite you to attend the GTF World Taekwon-Do Championship 2022 event to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria from July 25th – 31st, 2022. Also, during this Championship, the World Cup for Junior and Colored Belts will be held.

In accordance with the decision of GTF Members in February 2019, we are honored that Sofia, the European capital city in the heart of Europe was selected to host such an important event. The Local Organizing Committee is working diligently to ensure the GTF World Taekwon-Do Championship 2022 taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria for the first time is a great success and wonderful experience for all who participate.

We will make sure that the competition unfolds in the spirit of Martial Arts and fair play. The GTF World Taekwon-Do Championship 2022, Junior and Color Belt World Cup as well as the 32nd anniversary celebration of the GTF expects to bring participants from all around the world.

The Local Organizing Committee welcomes all participants, coaches, officials, parents and supporters to visit such a beautiful country, to enjoy the culture and Bulgarian hospitality.

We would like to wish everyone during the competition lots of luck and unforgettable moments.
We look forward to welcoming all of you to Sofia in July 2022!

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

April 25 2022. Preliminary deposit for accommodation: 200 € per person
(Please note that the deposit must be paid for all team members not only for the competitors. You don`t need the exact name of the team members at this time. For example: If the whole team (for World championship & World cup) counts 25 members, you should paid for each member x 200 € before April 25. Than you may registrate only 25 person for the events).

May 25 2022. Visa application

June 15 2022. Final deadline for teams to pay the ENTRY FEE (individual & team)

June 15 2022. Final deadline for teams to pay the full accommodation

Please kindly note that the amount to be paid must be in Euro. Any bank charges or eventual provision due to the currency exchange is on your expenses.
