Open European Taekwon-Do GTF Championship 2024

DEAR GRANDMASTERS, MASTERS, PRESIDENTS, INSTRUCTORS AND NATIONAL TEAMS,

I am pleased to invite all of you to take part in the Open European Taekwon-do GTF Championships 2024 that will be held in Aheloy, Bulgaria, on August 29 – 31. Bulgarian Taekwon-do GTF Federation can offer free accommodation for all Masters, bringing teams with more than 10 participators. We also can provide free accommodation on the tournament days for max 2 umpires per team. Happy to see you all!

PARTICIPATION FEE: 60 € per competitor
ACCOMMODATIONS: 65 € per day (3 meals a day; apart hotel)
RULES: This tournament will be held in accordance with GTF tournament rules;

June 25 – Final deadline for Visa application
July 15 – Final deadline to pay the full accommodation
August 5 – Final deadline to send full Team Participants List
August 29 – Last day of arrivals of all team delegations

***Please note that amount received must be fully paid; any bank charges or eventual provision due to the currency exchange is on your expenses.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

August 28 – Arrival; Weigh-in; Registration
August 29 – Arrival; Weigh-in; Registration; Draws; Umpire seminar; Coach seminar
August 30 – Male and Female individual competitions: Patterns, Sparring, Power test and Special technique, Opening ceremony
August 31 – Male and Female individual competitions: Patterns, Sparring, Power test and Special technique
September 1 – Departure

AWARDS
Competitors taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded with medals and diplomas .
The most successful teams in overall standings (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) will be awarded with trophies.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Medical assistance during the championship will only be available for competitors. It is participant’s responsibility to have full medical insurance. The organizer will not be responsible for any injury or loss before, during and after the championship.
