GTF – Assertiveness Division – general call
The GTF has decided to create a new Division in this Federation. Of course, due to Covid-19 this new Division cannot fully be operative right now in every country but we want to be ready as soon as we can start.
GTF wants to be more inclusive in its training opportunities and give a platform for students who need some extra training to learn in a safe environment with caring Instructors. It has been noted that over the years several GTF Instructors have successfully trained students with Special Needs up to black belt level and beyond.
The GTF President has asked Master Ivan Tzatchev to head this new Division as he has been teaching students with special development needs for fifteen years now. One of his students who started as white belt has now reached black belt and that is a great accomplishment for any student. Also, Master Tzatchev will be compiling a reference manual to assist interested Instructors to acquire additional knowledge and skills to provide their students with the best instruction possible.
We encourage all country Leaders to inform your instructors to see if they have students who would benefit from this new Division. If so, GTF would like these instructors to get involved in this vision. GTF wants this to be a team effort without any power struggle for control but rather exchanging ideas and experiences to make this a great Division in GTF.
So far, Master Young Nam Kim (INO-USA) have shown interest in working on this project. They have success and experience in this field. We would like to hear from many more.
We look forward to developing this new Division to give opportunity to all people who have interest in martial arts training but never had a place to train and compete.
